Mystery of RHCP Robot posters seen in L.A. Revealed!
Los Angeles has been blindsided by a wave of cryptic Red Hot Chili Peppers-themed street posters which has left RHCP Fans puzzled. TMZ has recently learned the secret identity of the man behind the onslaught… Banksy protégé Mr. Brainwash.
“Apparently” The Red Hot Chili Peppers hired him to use street art to promote their new album, I’m With You which is set for global release on August 30th 2011… which is why each poster contains the date 8/30/11. Supposedly his work is far from over as he claims to be working on other projects with the band.
The band’s management have stated that the posters are NOT Affiliated with the band or the label in any way.
